GENERAL MEET INFORMATION SHEET

1.	Up to  1/4” pyramid spikes on outdoor track.  Flats or 1/8” only on indoor track, flats only on infield of indoor track.  The javelin approach is grass.

2. Locker rooms and restrooms are available in the Regents Center lower level.

3. Scoring:  Individual events = 6-4-3-2-1. Relays = 12-8-6-4-2.  All individuals and three relay teams per school are eligible to score.

4.	The horizontal jumps and throws will be contested in one flight for each event with each athlete allowed 6 attempts.  

5.       Starting heights for the vertical jumps will be determined at the meet site.

6.	Entry Fee:  $100.00 per team, or $5 per individual.  Make checks payable to Luther College.	

7.	 Entries Due: Thursday, April 13th, at 8:00 p.m.  Email entries to Jeff Wettach at wettacje@luther.edu . Please enter name (for individual events), event, and seed performance. Jeff’s phone number is (563) 387-1577.

8.	Our indoor track facility will be available for warming up.  Please remind your athletes: NO 1/4” SPIKES ON INDOOR TRACK.

9.	Implements will be weighed in beginning at 10:45 a.m. in the green shed next to the tennis courts.  All implements must be weighed prior to competition!
