  • What we do:

Here at Wayzata Results Inc. we cater to the smaller races/events/track meets.  We offer affordable timing and meet management services that can fit anyone's budget.  But we aren't limited to just smaller events, we have the technology to run bigger events.  We dont just stop there we also provide the best services for providing basketball stats at any level.   And theres more, we have just recently purchased league management software, so now we can match our slogan "The Leader in Sports Management."  We will work with you so that we can do anything to time/score/keep stats of your event/season.  We fit any budget (large or small).

    What software/equipment do we use?

We only use the best software and equipment on the market.  After years as a competitor and watching meets/races being run and even working my own events and others, I have made the best choices that I can to ensure that we can meet any athletic standard (by Governing Bodies).  For Track & Field we use Hy-Tek Meet Manager (The only software allowed for USATF & AAU Events).  We are Hy-Tek Independent Contract Certified Timers.  Our staff has years of experience in working with Hy-Tek Meet Manager.  We were one of the few Beta Testers of Hy-Tek Meet Manager (T&F) 2.0.  We also use Hy-Tek Meet Manager for all USATF XC Meets as well.  But for Cross Country (Running & Skiing) we use RunScore the worlds most popular race-scoring software.  We have run over 20 events with the RunScore software.  2006 was our first year using RunScore and within that period we have made the full switch to RunScore for all CC & Nordic events (unless you request otherwise).  We also have Apple Raceberry JaM.  We have been using Apple Raceberry JaM since we went into business from 1999 to 2005 we used Apple Raceberry JaM.  We still keep updated versions of Apple Raceberry JaM  because we still get requests to use it.  Along with these great programs we have also been fortunate enough to have an up and coming software scoring program called RaceTab, its a relatively new software program and servers mostly Florida and the South Eastern states.  We also had the great honor of being Beta Testers for this software as well.  We currently don't use this software too often but we are using this software as backup for some events, until we are comfortable with this stability.  For timing purposes we use ChampionChip chip timing system, the worlds leading timing technology for active sports events.  We rent our system from one of our partners ChampionChip MN.  We have the experience to run the ChampionChip system for any size event.  But the ChampionChip system doesn't fit everyone's budget, so we have two TimeMachine timers.  This is the choice that most of the meet directors choose to because, as I mentioned earlier, we cater to smaller events.  The TimeMachine timers interface directly with all of our software, so there is NO delay when processing results.  For Track & Field events we use the most popular and best camera system in the world, FinishLynx we have two wireless cameras run by our expert FinishLynx Operator Bob Ertl.  For league management we have two programs that we use.  One is the worlds most popular League Analyzer and the other is LeaguePad (used for soccer only).  Sadly we have only been able to test out these two programs because we haven't gotten any requests to use it, but we have mastered both.  For Basketball we have the two best programs available on the market.  For 99% of our events we use CyberSports USA for Basketball.  For that other 1% we use Stat Crew.  We have the ability to produce game box scores within seconds after the buzzer.  We can produce season stats and email them to you and the newspapers.  We have four windows computers (fully equipped with Hy-Tek, RunScore, CyberSports, RaceTab, and FinishLynx).  We also have 3 Mac computers with the latest version of Apple Raceberry JaM installed.
